Cilantro

Cilantro is the name for the leaves of the coriander plant. It is an herb common in many south Asian and Mexican dishes (like salsa and guacamole!). (Read more on Wikipedia.)

Cilantro is packed with essential vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K, thiamin, zinc, folate, calcium, iron, manganese, copper, and potassium. If you need to store fresh herbs, trim the stems then place them into a jar with about an inch of water in the bottom. If you need to refrigerate the herbs, place a plastic bag over the herbs/jar and then refrigerate.
