Quickles (or, Quick Pickles)


  • Any moderate amount of cucumbers
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt


Thinly slice your cukes. Combine them with the sugar and salt in a small mixing bowl, toss to coat. Let the mixture sit for 5 to 10 minutes. Rinse the cukes off in a colander, dry them, and sprinkle upon them the remaining sugar. Wait 5 minutes, and enjoy!
