Broccoli with Mung Bean Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 3 stalks broccoli, chopped
  • 2 cups mung bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 cup sun flower seeds
  • 1/2 cup water (to mix with cornstarch)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Recipe

    Heat wok or frying pan and add cooking oil. Stir-fry broccoli for 1 minutes over medium-high heat. Add 1/2 cup water and stir-fry for another 2 minutes. Add bean sprouts and sunflower seeds. Stir-fry a further two minutes. Add cornstarch to 1/2 cup water and mix well to dissolve. Add to broccoli and mung bean sprout mixture along with soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir, then cover for 1 minute. Serve hot with steamed white rice.
