Sauteed Spinach and Sprouts


  • 2 oz raisins
  • 3 tbl extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 bunch spinach, washed
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 oz pine nuts
  • 1 tbl organic honey
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 6 oz bean sprouts
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • salt and pepper, to taste 


1. In an oiled skillet over high heat, sauté onion until it becomes slightly translucent, 2-3 minutes. Add spinach and sautee for an additional 2-3 minutes.Add in raisins, pine nuts, honey, garlic, sprouts and lemon juice. Remove from heat and season to taste.
