Garlic Scape Pesto with Sage


  • About 20 garlic scapes, roughly chopped
  • 5-6 large leaves of fresh sage
  • 1/4 cup pine nuts
  • juice from 1/2 of a lemon
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • salt and pepper


1. Combine garlic scapes, sage, lemon juice and pine nuts in a food processor and blend.

2. Add olive oil slowly throughout process, and salt and pepper to taste.
