Whether it's the acorn-shaped Hachiya or the tomato-shaped Fuyu, persimmons are a perfect fall treat!

We generally go for the more user-friendly Fuyu which can be eaten firm or soft, unlike the tannin-rich Hachiya which must be eaten very, very soft to avoid an unpleasant mouth-puckering experience.
