Founded in 1985, Deep Root is a farmer-owned cooperative consisting of 24 member farms in Northern Vermont and Quebec that produce over 150 different crop varieties every year. We work closely with Deep Root in the colder months, sourcing root crops such as potatoes and parsnips.
Beyond their organic produce, Deep Root is committed to fostering a strong community of farmers motivated by success through cooperation. Their members share information and often mentor newcomers on topics such as machinery and best growing practices.
