Located along the Merrimack River in New Hampshire, Brookford Farm is a 600-acre diversified farm with over 35 acres in organic vegetable production. In addition to vegetable production, the farm is also home to cattle, hogs, and chickens that are all rotated on pasture.
Farm Owners, Catarina and Luke Mahoney, believe deeply in the importance of organic and sustainable methods to grow their crops. An essential part of their mission is to reclaim and return land to its optimum fertility. To do this, the Mahoney’s emphasize the importance of soil health, crop rotation, manures, and “good ole’ observation.”
